Vito Coppola has shared a message with Strictly dance partner Ellie to say 'love you' after the pair shared their last dance on the live tour this weekend. Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Vito shared footage of the two of them together backstage, ahead of their final performance, at the O2 in London.

He said: "It has been just perfect right? Love you baby and always remember our promise: 'always there for each other'. No more words needed! Good night baby." Vito included a heart emoji.

Addressing their fans, he said: "Good night beautiful people. You have been with us in every single moment since the beginning of our journey." He ended the post with a four-leaf clover emoji.

The video that was included in the post showed Vito and Ellie shortly before their final performance together on the tour. They were seen in dressing gowns backstage whilst someone off-camera combed Ellie's hair.

Various colleagues were briefly seen in the background at points in the video. This included former tennis player Annabel Croft, who was among the line-up on the tour, with her apologising after walking into frame in the footage.

Vito and Ellie seemed a bit teary-eyed as they prepared for their final dance together on the tour. He said: "Baby, are we about to perform our last show together? I love you so much." Ellie responded to the dancer: "I love you."

Vito added: "We always end up like this. It's been an amazing tour. An amazing series. An amazing month." He went on to say: "This was different with everyone."

He continued: "We are going to dance one last time." Ellie confirmed: "Our last time." The pair suggested that their last dance would be an American smooth. Vito added in the clip: "But we are happy because we gave our 110% percent."

Ellie said: "And we've been lucky to have this experience together." Vito replied by saying that he felt "very, very lucky" to have shared the experience with Ellie, which was a sentiment that she echoed in the video. Vito concluded by saying that they were "so grateful".

The footage was set to Billie Eilish's song What Was I Made For?, which featured in the film Barbie (2023) and earlier this month won two Grammy Awards. Vito's video has more than 40,000 plays on the platform since it was shared.
