A very popular Welsh doughnut brand is opening in Cardiff having built up a brilliant reputation across their four other sites. WhoCult, who many will recognise from their stores in Bridgend, Porthcawl, Goodsheds in Barry, and Newport Market, where customers queue around the block to get their hands on these delicious doughnuts, is now coming to Cardiff.
Serving their amazing doughnuts, which include flavours such as blueberry, lemon drizzle, vanilla latte and so much more, WhoCult will be opening in the Royal Arcade, in Cardiff. They aim to open in Cardiff by early March and the store will be open seven days a week, serving doughnuts, coffee, and milkshakes.
There will also be merchandise, such as coffee beans, mugs, and tee shirts, for sale in the store. Scott Magill, who is the owner of WhoCult, spoke about the move to Cardiff. Want less ads? Download WalesOnline’s Premium app on Apple or Android.

He said: "We always get comments from people in Cardiff saying when are you coming to Cardiff? It was the logical next move for us. There was an instant excitement in Cardiff which is lovely for us to see."
WhoCult originally opened as a coffee and doughnut takeaway in 2019 in Bridgend and the business has grown from strength to strength. Speaking about the success of WhoCult, Scott said: "It has been a whirlwind, it has been a dream come true for us. The support we get from people is insane, makes it all worthwhile. There is a lot that goes into it that people don't see, it just makes it worthwhile when we do see people really into it, it is nice to see."
WhoCult joins Cowbridge business Maple & Bean who are also opening soon in Cardiff's arcades as they take over the site that was formerly the award-winning cafe The Plan. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
