Long forgotten pictures look back at Swansea's famous Party In The Park event at Singleton Park
Thousands would attend waving banners professing their love to the latest heart throb

It was a pop music extravaganza which brought the youth of Swansea out in their masses. Chart toppers of the nineties and noughties hit the stage in Singleton Park - drawing crowds of up to 20,000 screaming fans.
Party In The Park, launched in 1997, attracted star line-ups that (believe it or not) once read like a who's who of the British pop industry. Pop fans would dress in their finest summer wear, create banners professing their love to the latest heart throb and sing along to some of the catchiest tunes of the time.
The likes of Kelly Clarkson, McFly, Steps and All Saints all took turns to grace the stage at the famous old event, which continued until 2007. We wrote a full feature looking back at Party In The Park and the reason why it disappeared, which you can read by clicking here.
But for now, here's a gallery full of long forgotten pictures reminiscing over some of the fun that was had by many at the festival.
