Loose Women panellist Linda Robson, who is also known for starring in Birds of a Feather, has bravely spoken about her mental health on ITV1's This Morning. Promoting her new autobiography, Truth Be Told, Linda spoke openly about her struggles and how she was placed on "suicide watch" by her family.
Talking to This Morning hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond Linda explained how she normally supported her family with their mental health struggles until she had a breakdown while in Ibiza with the Loose Women. She said: "I was always the strongest one in my family, a couple of people in my family had had mental health problems, I was the one who was looking after them. All of a sudden the tables turned and they were having to look after me.
"It all started in Ibiza, we used to go to boot camp, me and the Loose Women, every summer, and that year when I went I just found it really really hard to get through the day. I started drinking, I'd never drunk before, I just started drinking anything to black out... my family were on suicide watch with me, it was so bad."
