Charles James Braham, formerly of Llanelli and more recently of Aberporth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 16 January 2024. Aged 92 years, Charles, beloved husband to the late Maureen, cherished father and father-in-law to Alison, the late Mark and the late David, proud Grandad of James and Susan, Claire-Louise and Paul, Andrew and Hatti, much-loved great-grandfather to Theo, Eli, Martha, Charlotte, Grace and Olivia, dearest brother and brother-in-law to the late Violet, the late Raymond and the late Joan, and fond uncle of Nicola and Stephen. Charles was a dedicated journalist who founded Swansea Sound radio station and was a former owner of the Tivyside Advertiser and Llanelli Star newspapers. On Monday 8th January, June passed away peacefully at Llandough Hospital aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Eric, devoted mother of Richard, Christopher, Sally and Jennie. (Eddie) It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Edwin Vella announces his passing on 22nd January 2024 at the age of 87. Eddie passed away peacefully at home, in the presence of his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 60 years, Cheryl, his son Paul, his daughter Sonia and his two grandchildren, Jamie and Holly. Eddie studied engineering and became a television engineer, he loved tinkering with his cars, loved DIY, enjoyed travelling, loved his dogs, but most of all loved his family. After a long illness bravely fought, Frank Yates (aged 83) sadly passed away peacefully at home in St. Fagans on 7th January 2024. Survived by his loving wife Margery, his daughters Carolyn and Alison, sons-in-law Dominic and Simon and grandchildren Alex, Siena and James. A small family memorial service was held at Thornhill Crematorium on the 29th January 2024.
