The new song features the lyrics: “I wears it like a normal coat at the football when little Timmy’s in goal, other parents look at me like I’m an a**hole.” The chorus, meanwhile, describes how if you “don’t like the look you’re a dryrobe-a-phobe”.
Other lyrics in the song include: “It’s a Dryrobe and I wears it with pride, on the school run not at the seaside. I don’t care as you stand and stare coz I know you got yours at Mountain Warehouse.”
Fans of the band were quick to share their thoughts with one person writing: “Brilliant track fellas!”
A second joked: “They'd have to pay me to advertise for them like that.” A third commented: “You knows how cold it is by the number of Dryrobes you sees in the park…. Them pockets are massive!”
A fourth said: “I'm crying with laughter.” And a further person wrote: “Dryrobes are expensive. Got to get your monies' worth”
