As Valentine’s Day is – surprisingly - one of the most popular days for relationships to end, The Dungeons is helping with the agony of finishing the courtship on a day dedicated to romance. To be considered, peasants visiting The Edinburgh and York Dungeons on Valentine’s Day will need to slip the admissions host a note including their name, soon-to-be ex's name and where they’re from.
Don’t forget to include all the gory details of why you want to dump them, these will be passed on to the Jester who’s poised and ready to take on the burden of the break-up. Kathryn Adam, General Manager at The Edinburgh Dungeon, said: “This Valentine’s Day, we’re looking forward to welcoming peasants that are unlucky in love into the attraction and doing their dirty work with a public dumping experience.
“Any couples that want to escape the burden of expensive Valentine’s Day gifts, feel stuck in their relationship or are too scared to initiate the split, can visit The York and Edinburgh Dungeons and take the pressure out of their hands. Our very own Jester is ready to dump your partner for you, but just a word of warning – he’s not afraid to be savage!”
Both sites will pick one entry at random and the Jester will create a video to post on the attraction’s social channels to tell the world, making it a public dumping that the whole nation can watch.
