Some of the biggest dance anthems of the past 30 years are to be brought to life in a big evening of music in Swansea. Classic Ibiza has announced it will put on a show at Singleton Park on Friday, July 19, featuring a 32-piece orchestra, live singers and DJs.

The show is the third concert to be announced at the park for 2024, in what promises to be a big weekend of live music at the open air venue, with British retro music festival Let's Rock Wales being staged on Saturday, July 20, featuring the likes of UB40 ex-lead singer Ali Campbell and Jason Donovan, whilst James Arthur will perform there on July 18.

Classic Ibiza has sold out shows all over the UK with the "ultimate trip down dance music memory lane", as favourites like Insomnia, Sandstorm, Born Slippy and Levels are performed by a live orchestra. Organisers say there is also a very special support act being lined up for the show, which is yet to be announced. For the latest Swansea news, sign up to our newsletter here.

It is not the first time Singleton Park has hosted events celebrating the Ibiza music scene. In July 2023, Ministry of Sound Classical put on a show there, as music fans danced wearing ponchos, big overcoats and wellies whilst trudging through muddy fields thanks to a day of torrential rain and heavy winds.
