Alice & Jack is a brand new drama from Channel 4. The new series was created and written by Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy nominee Victor Levin, whose previous works include Mad About You and Mad Men.
Landing on Channel 4 on Valentine's Day, Alice has been described as a love story for the ages. It has an incredible cast list including Andrea Riseborough in the role of Alice, who is best known for To Leslie, Amsterdam, Birdman, and Domhnall Gleeson, who plays Jack. Viewers will recognise Domhnall from The Patient, The Revenant, Mother! and the film About Time.
Also in the star-studded line-up is This Way Up's Aisling Bea, Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood, and Sunil Patel, known for Documentary Now, and The Witchfinder. A synopsis reads: "When Alice and Jack first meet they’re bound by a connection so powerful it seems nothing can break it, but will their path lead them to a place of happiness and togetherness? Or will life and their own emotional complexities get in the way?

When does Alice & Jack start?
The new series kicks off on Channel 4 on Wednesday, February 14. Viewers can tune in on Valentine's Day at 9pm for the hour-long episode.
The second episode will then air just one day later, at 9pm on Thursday, February 15, with the remaining four expected in the following weeks.

Where was Alice & Jack filmed?
Filming took place mostly in London, with director and executive producer Juho Kuoshmanen explaining: "Alice and Jack is set in London and you will see a street level London. You won't see the landmarks, but we wanted to make sure that it would feel like London is in the background all the time. London is a very beautiful city so I was happy to work there. We found amazing locations and I was really extremely happy to work with Max Smeds, who is the director of photography for the series. The way he captures those locations is really, really beautiful."
While actress Alice said: "London plays its own character and I think it’s beautiful the way the directors, Juho (Kuosmanen) and Hong (Khaou), have captured the city. It’s wonderful to see the city and also to see it reflected in a way that’s not expected."
