Biggest movies coming out in 2024 - including Mean Girls, Inside Out 2, Wicked and Joker

With the arrival of the new year comes the arrival of brand new films to get excited about over the coming months. This year, there will be some huge blockbusters talking to the big screen, including the new Mean Girls movie, the sequel of Inside Out, Wicked starring Ariana Grande and the next Joker film with Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.

There will even be the return of some iconic animated stars, such as Paddington, Transformers and Sonic the Hedgehog - an ideal line-up for kids. For those who are fans of Zendaya, there will be two big films coming out starring the well-loved American actress, including Challengers and Dune Part 2.

It comes as Hollywood was put on a standstill due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes, which caused delays in production and pushed back big release dates.
